CAFFE MOCHA

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of espresso (about 1-1.5 ounces or 30-45 ml)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
  • Whipped cream
  • Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings (optional, for garnish)

Equipment:

  • Espresso machine or moka pot
  • Milk frother or steam wand
  • Coffee mug

Instructions:

  1. Brew the espresso: Start by brewing a shot of espresso using an espresso machine or a moka pot. Make sure the espresso is strong and flavorful. If using a moka pot, follow the instructions provided with the pot to brew the espresso.
  2. Froth the milk: While the espresso is brewing, froth the milk. Pour the milk into a milk frother or a jug with a steam wand. Froth the milk until it becomes creamy and velvety, similar to the texture of a latte.
  3. Prepare the chocolate syrup: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate syrup for about 15-30 seconds until it becomes warm and pourable. Alternatively, you can warm the chocolate syrup in a small saucepan over low heat on the stovetop.
  4. Assemble the drink: In a coffee mug, add the warm chocolate syrup. Pour the hot espresso shot into the mug, and stir gently to combine the espresso and chocolate syrup. Then, slowly pour the frothed milk into the mug, holding back the foam with a spoon to create layers. Allow the foam to rest on top.
  5. Garnish with whipped cream: Top the Caffè Mocha with a generous dollop of whipped cream. You can create a decorative pattern or swirl the cream on top for an elegant presentation.
  6. Optional garnish: For an extra touch of indulgence, sprinkle cocoa powder or chocolate shavings on top of the whipped cream. This adds a delightful visual appeal and enhances the chocolate flavor.
  7. Enjoy: Your Caffè Mocha is now ready to be savored! Sip it slowly and relish the harmonious blend of rich espresso, velvety chocolate, creamy milk, and luscious whipped cream.

Note: Feel free to adjust the amount of chocolate syrup to suit your taste preferences. You can also customize your Caffè Mocha by adding a dash of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon for added flavor depth.
